Central Florida Computer Society

The Central Florida Computer Society (CFCS) is a charitable, 501(c)3 scientific and educational organization formed to encourage interest in the operation and development of computers, in general, for the benefit of the members of the Society and the general public.

Formed in 1977 and incorporated in February of 1982, CFCS motto is "Users helping Users." We hold general meetings on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Location and details can be found on our website. These gatherings feature computer-related presentations by software and hardware suppliers, as well as opportunities for members to exchange technical information of interest to all. Our Web site at http://www.CFCS.org offers a wealth of information about all aspects of our computer activities.

We also support numerous Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that meet at various times throughout each month. These include basic word processing, data base, and spreadsheet software programs, as well as specialized areas of interest covering graphics, financial investing, Internet, publishing, networking, and hardware maintenance. For information on meeting times and places of our SIGs, read the Special Interest Group Listings or The CFCS Bussline Newsletter, our monthly newsletter.
