John is a serial entrepreneur and award-winning former CIO and CTO. He has a reputation for positioning companies as technology leaders and innovators and is an expert on cutting-edge internet and enterprise technologies. He has a proven record of success in ECommerce, Internet Media, large-scale IT operations and Software Engineering.

Currently John is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Big Couch Media Group, LLC., a south Florida based interactive agency. Big Couch Media provides strategic management consulting, interactive web development, online marketing management and media sales and operations. As managing partner, John heads up Big Couch's specialized services in social media, Drupal development and cloud computing.

John formally served as Executive Vice President of New Media and Chief Technology Officer for Baby Universe, Inc. (Nasdaq:KIDS), a leading new media, content, and ecommerce company targeted to growing families. At Baby Universe John was responsible for the development and launch of BabyTV.com, an internet broadcast network dedicated to new and expectant parents. In his role as CTO, John was responsible for technology and ecommerce operations.

Prior to Baby Universe, John served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Lydian Trust/VirtualBank.com, a financial services company providing internet and private banking, wealth management and outsourced business processing services for high net worth clients and premier financial institutions. In his role as CIO, John oversaw technology strategy and operations for Lydian's four operating divisions.

John also held key executive roles at Litespeed Technologies, Inc., an Application Service Provider and Digital Software Services, Inc., a software engineering firm where he was responsible for development of branch automation and Internet Banking software products.
