With plans for Florida DrupalCamp 2010 well underway and our discussions about building a site for a non-profit organization on Day 2 of the camp, we created a place to start capturing all of the good ideas as well as names of potential non-profit partners for the event. Please go to groups.drupal.org/florida/2010FloridaDrupalCamp and leave your comments there!
This year we will be charging a $5 pre-registration fee in order to get a commitment from attendees. Our venue only has 150 seats, and we don't want to turn away interested parties.
The planning for Florida DrupalCamp 2010 began a few months ago, and we are starting to have to organize events, publicity, the website, sponsorships, the event schedule and the hands-on portion of our event on the second day.
If you want to get involved, keep watching groups.drupal.org/florida for announcements about the conference call times and call-in numbers.
